Good Morning God

 

Thank you for this day, for this is the day that YOU have made!  Help me to appreciate the small things and not focus on the tiredness that i feel.  Strengthen me to shine bright for you this day!   My life must be about you and i lift my praises up to you!  Exalting you for all that you are and the love that you have bestowed upon me that i should be called your child!  Thank you!  I ask for your wall of fire to be around us today as we work and travel, help us to be of good cheer!  I give this day to you my Abba!  I love you Lord!

Loving God

“By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His commandments.  For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.  For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith.  and who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?  1 John 4:3-5

Do you love God?  How do you show it?  How do you classify your love for God?  Do you love Him only when you need something from Him?  Is that even love?  Do you love Him in church but then forget Him the rest of the week?  Is that even love?

Im sure that if you asked every christian if they loved God they would immediately say yes.  But im sure if you asked what the bible defines as loving God, most would not have a clue.  I imagine that most would say, by being a good person.  Being a good person has nothing to do with being a christian.   It should be a result of ones walk with God but it isnt what we should be focused on!  It isnt loving God.

“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments and that they are NOT burdensome!  Are you keeping Gods commandments?  Can you still say that you are truly loving God?  How many sins are you rationalizing right now?  I have several going through my head.  No matter what my lips say, it is my heart that holds the truth to the love i have for God!

When we are living in sin, we are NOT loving God!  It doesnt matter how good of a person you are, if you arent following the commandments of God than you arent loving Him!  And if you arent loving Him you are missing out on all the greatness of the christian life!  You arent experiencing the victory that is yours in Christ!

Gods love is not a pampering love, it is a perfecting love!  He has given us His perfect word that has ALL the answers in it!  It is the same yesterday, today and forever!  There is no new thing going on for christians!  God doesnt have a new plan!  He has His word!

We are the sons and daughters of God!  We have everything we need to live a great life and yet we choose to throw it out the window for sin?!  We choose to love the world and not God!  We choose death over life!  We dont experience all that God has for us because our faith is weak and we arent following His commandments!

If you arent following Gods commandments then you arent loving God!  Thats all there is to it!  It doesnt matter what you say, or how much you praise Him at church, or how often you talk about Him, if you arent following His commandments then you arent loving Him!  How much do you think God wants to do for children who dont love Him?

There is great victory in a life lived loving God by following His commandments!  It isnt easy and one cant do it overnight but rather it is a difficult and narrow road that takes a life time to walk!  But when we are on His road, He is with us!  When we are following His commandments, He hears our prayers!  When we are striving to live His commandments better each day, He pours out His blessings upon us!

You see, the choice is yours!  You are the one who is in control of your relationship with God.  You choose to love or you choose to not!  Your actions, your decisions, your walk!  If it isnt everything you want it to be it isnt Gods fault!  Get off the road of the world and start doing the hard work of following the commandments of God.  The more you do them the less burdensome they are!  After awhile they arent a burden at all but rather a great refreshment!

God has great things for you but you need to choose Him, you need to love Him, you need to follow His commandments!  He is not mocked, you cant say one thing with your mouth and do the opposite with your actions!

Jesus, thank you that the more i follow your word, the better my life gets!  Help me to overcome my rationalizations!  I want my life to be about you and not me!  I have some struggles and i ask that you help me to find a way to overcome them!  I dont want to miss out on any of the blessings that you have for me!  I love you and i want to show it by following your commandments!

Good Morning God

Thank you for good rest last night.  Thank you for the incredible children that you have blessed me with!  Teach me to raise them according to your word!  Help me to grow them in love and discipline that is balanced and biblical!  Place your wall of fire around them!  Thank you for the clinic.  Thank you for each client that walks in the doors.  Fill me with compassion that i might be a shine light for you!  Thank you for the wonderful pets that you have brought into my life!  I give this day to you, I love you Lord.

DoggCrapp Training Day A-1 (round 3)

I am feeling a bit less exhausted and that is a good thing. I slept alright last night and got out of bed a bit after 4 am. Two sets of 25 hanging leg raises and off to take the monchers to school and then to the gym.

It was actually busy for the hole in the wall. Maybe 6 people and they were all in back which was great because i had bis at the front and didnt have to listen to them. and they were all pretty much gone by the time i had to do deads.

the boss ordered the numbers and it worked well. generally i burn everything up on my first set and only get one or two for the other sets. i actaully got more done this way and felt better doing them.

The deads are a whole story in and of themselves. i got in trouble for them and well, it is what it is.

Nothing very exciting at the office today. I suppose that is good for the dogs and cats of the community but is kind of boring for me

And i did it again

Im really not trying to be hardheaded!  Im not trying to be stubborn!  I just am these things by who i am!   It is all part of my charm

Today was deadlift day in the gym and i LOVE deadlifts.  Why?  Because they take everything one has mentally and physically.  They are a superb lift of strength and focus and form and all the good things about lifting weights!  It takes time and effort to do them and i love them because one cant cheat on them and one cant have a spot and one just has to gut it out on their own!  It is an awesome lift!  And i was terrible at them today!

The last time i did deads i did 315# for 7 and that was not good enough for the boss because he expects me to be better.  So today i was all geared up to get my 315# for 10.  I warmed up 135# for 5, 225# for 5, 315# i walked up to the bar, felt pretty good, strapped on and holy moly it just wasnt happening.   You know how it is when you go to do something and you know that today is not your day?  Well that was me with deads!  It was not my day!

Why?  well a few things, i am having some ovary issues and i need to get them checked out so the belt was causing some significant discomfort today.  The other thing is my hips have been bothering me since legs on tuesday and the right one didnt think that deadlifting was a very good thing to be doing.

I only got 3 on my 315# but my form was so bad that i knew if i kept pushing i was going to hurt myself.  I dropped to 275# and was only able to do 8 so dropped again to 225# for a measly 10.   i noticed during the 225# though that i was at least engaging the glutes and hams which i had not been doing on the heavier sets.  There was no consciously not doing them right it was more i think that the body was trying to protect itself and so my form really really sucked on all of them!

Anyway, i called the boss because i knew he was going to chew my ass out and i was not disappointed. ( I was trying to look remorseful in the top pic but i didnt quite get the right look but ran out of time to keep trying. )  He was mad that i continued on with doing them when they were bothering me.  I got my ass chewed for 20+ minutes but i didnt hold still very well for it!   that is where the stubbornness and hardheadedness comes in.

The boss doesnt want me to lift when i am hurting but if i did that, i would never be lifting.  I was raised to work and one worked regardless of how they felt or how much they hurt.  If i didnt work when i hurt, i would never get out of bed!  Its just the way it is, no big deal.

Certainly there are injuries that one can acquire where they do need the time off, im all for rest or not working for that reason, it would be dumb not too.  BUT for arthritic issues, one just has to deal with it!  It is never going to go away and it hurts worse when one does nothing, so why even think about it?

I stopped at 3 reps at 315# because i knew that i was going to screw something up if i continued.  After that i just had to do something, i had to at least try to do better even if i failed.  What can i say, im stubborn and hardheaded.

Life Lessons- Failing to try

Life isnt easy and if your life is, you arent trying very hard. I love my life but it is not easy! I love what i do but it takes a huge toll on me in many ways. It is draining emotionally, it is exhausting physically, it takes much effort every day and all day!

There are days when i feel like a total failure! Days when i know i didnt try my hardest to be nice to every crazy client that walk in the door. Days when my compassion was low. Days when i fail to communicate! There are days when i fail to try and those are the worst days of all!

Other days i fail but i gave it my best. Days when i learn something new even though the end result was not what i had wanted. Days when i help a client cope with their loss or feel like they tried their best. Days when i am all that i should be! Those days are the days that make it all worth it! Those are the days that even though i have maybe failed, i get up the next day full of desire to do better!

If you never try, if you never fail when doing your best, you will never truly live! Life isnt about the easy road! It isnt about the road most fun! Life is about doing and trying and achieving and failing but getting up and continuing on! Life is hard but it is a good hard. It is a hard that should encourage you to try again, a hard that makes you want to be better!

Dont just float down the river of life letting it take you wherever it will! Get out the oars and take control! Start tying, make yourself weary by trying! Do the hard work to get to where you want to be! Dont be afraid to fail but rather use a failure to push you to give more effort, to pay more attention, to work harder to be all that you can be!

False Prophets

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God;  because many false prophets have gone out into the world.  By this you know the Spirit of God; every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;  and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming and now it is already in the world.”  1 John 4:1-3

Why is it that so many religions and so many people are against Jesus Christ?  Why is it that they want to reduce Him to having just been a good person?  Why is it that His name offends so many people?  Why is it that nobody wants to believe that Jesus is the Son of God and God Himself!?  The Holy Trinity, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit!

I dont really care what anyone has said or how many books have been written or how many religions there are that dont believe that Jesus is God, they are wrong!  They are being led by false prophets!  Jesus is the whole thing!  Jesus is the test!  It is so simple!  One doesnt have to sit there and worry about or ponder over or wonder, it tells us in the word of God, “every spirit (prophet) that confesses Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, every spirit that does not confess Jesus, is not from God!”  How hard much wiggle room is there in that verse?

We are so weak in the word of God that we are so easily led astray by false prophets!  We want to have our ears tickled and we want to be told what to believe or what is “right” but we are too lazy or too confused or too controlled to go and figure out the truth for ourselves!  Remember, when you stand before God, there is going to be no one standing beside you and making excuses or taking responsibility for you and your beliefs!

There are whole religions that think and are built upon Jesus being just a good person.  Jesus a man but not God.  Jesus a prophet but not the Son of God.  And yet they say they believe in the bible.  If the bible is their foundation, why is it that 1 John 3:1-3 is not taken into consideration?   Just because some alleged prophet wrote some book and that means that the bible isnt true or is only to be used in bits and pieces?

The word of God is living and active!  God is the same yesterday, today and forever!  He never changes!  Why would He put the bible together and then throw it out for some persons thoughts?

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, it is all about Jesus!  Jesus wasnt just some good person!  Jesus was the lamb of God sent as a sacrifice, to shed His blood, to cover our sins!  Jesus is how we get into heaven!  Not by being some good person!  “if you CONFESS with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.”  romans 10:9.  This isnt some joke, this is truth!  If you arent all about Jesus, you arent saved!

There is no where in the bible where it tells us that by being a good person and believing in God you will be saved!  Believing in Jesus!  Here is how to test the prophets, if they dont claim Jesus as the Son of God, as the propitiation of our sins, as God, then they are false!  FALSE prophets, antichrists!  Against Christ means against being truly saved!

It breaks my heart to think of all the good people, the people who spend their whole lives following religious rules and never feeling like they are good enough but trying to get to heaven by works instead of salvation!  How sad it must be when they stand before God and He asks them if they believe in Jesus and they say no and then nothing else they did will matter.  Depart from me, i never knew you!

Jesus, my heart is heavy, my heart is burdened for so many that have been led astray by the spirit of the antichrist!  Help me to be a light unto them!  I ask for revelation for them!  open their eyes and their hearts to your truths!  remove from them the spirit of the antichrist that is blinding their heart from you!  Save them Jesus!

Good Morning God

 

Thank you for this day!  Thank you that no matter what happens today, you have allowed it!  Thank you that i can trust you in all things!  Increase my faith that i may live for you completely and without doubt!  Fill me with your Holy Spirit!  Wash the world off me and consume me with you!  Mold me into what you can use, not what i think you can use!  Thank you for your perfect love for me!  Thank you for sending your perfect Son to be the propitiation of my sins that i may come before you each day and receive your free grace and mercy!  I love you Lord!

Life Lessons-The joy of work

There is joy in work. There is no happiness except in the realization that we have accomplished something.

I was raised to work. From the time we girls were old enough to do anything, my dad had us outside working. I didnt have any brothers and my dad didnt care that we were girls. We worked and did everything a boy or a man would do.

We bucked hay, we shoveled snow, we helped build fence, we worked on the vehicles, we wrestled the calves. If it needed to be done, we did it because there was no one else to do it! This work ethic has stayed with me my entire life. If there is work to be done, im going to do it and not stop until the work is done.

Some where along the way, people have forgotten how to work! People have forgotten how much satisfaction and joy there is in working hard and earning ones living! Too many people are sitting on their asses and letting the government take care of them because for some reason they think they are too good to do any manual type labor! Too good to flip burgers at mc donalds or be a cashier at walmart!

We had a client come in a few weekends ago with a small dog that had been hit by a car and had a severely fractured leg and dislocated leg on the other side. When we told them how much it would be to fix it the guy started telling us that he had been unable to work for 2 years because of a heart condition and they just didnt have that kind of money. And yet, they were driving a brand new car and the woman had a nice purse so apparently they had money to spend on that sort of stuff!

My kennel boy is 16 yo. Last august he had open heart surgery to replace his heart valves. He had surgery when he was an infant and of course his heart had outgrown those valves and was greatly enlarged and it was time to put in some new ones. He was back to work in 6 weeks! And if it hadnt been that the doctor refused to let him, he would have been to work sooner! He wasnt going to let a bad heart keep him from working!

We choose to be miserable and defeated! Sitting on your ass is not going to make you feel anything good! Letting uncle sam take care of you isnt going to make you happy but rather it is going to make you dependent!

You want to know what joy is? Get a job! An honest days work for an honest days pay! There is no satisfaction in doing nothing and letting someone else support you! Put your pride on the shelf and put on some humility and go do something, anything! and before you know it you will start to feel better and the better you feel the more you will do and the more you do the more you will be rewarded and the more you are rewarded the more satisfaction you will have and the world goes round and round!
